According to the FDA, side-effects from Nexium®* can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these side-effects are severe or do not go away:


· headache
· diarrhea
· upset stomach
· flatulence (gas)
· stomach pain
· constipation
· dry mouth
· change in taste


If you experience any of the following side-effects, call your doctor immediately:


· confusion
· drowsiness
· blurred vision
· rapid heartbeat
· sweating
· flushing

 




*Nexium® is marketed by AstraZeneca to treat acid reflux disease. The active ingredient in Nexium® is esomeprazole.
