Remeron â Side-Effects, Safety and Recall Information

According to the FDA, side-effects from Remeron®* are not common, but they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these side-effects are severe or do not go away:


· drowsiness
· dizziness
· anxiousness
· confusion
· increased weight and appetite
· dry mouth
· constipation
· upset stomach
· vomiting


If you experience any of the following side-effects, call your doctor immediately:


· flu-like side-effects, fever, chills, sore throat, mouth sores, or other signs of infection
· chest pain
· fast heartbeat
· seizures

 

 

*Remeron® is marketed by Organon to treat depression. The active ingredient in Remeron® is mirtazapine.
