Neurontin â Side-Effects, Safety and Recall Information

According to the FDA, Neurontin

®* side-effects are not common, but they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these side-effects are severe or do not go away:

· drowsiness
· headache
· fatigue
· blurred vision
· tremor
· anxiety
· irregular eye movements

If you experience any of the following side-effects, call your doctor immediately:

· skin rash
· itching
· difficulty moving or breathing
· clumsiness
· fever
· flu-like side-effects
· irregular, pounding, or fast heartbeat
· seizures

*Neurontin® is marketed by Parke-Davis, Pfizer to treat pain after shingles and partial seizures. The active ingredient in Neurontin® is gabapentin.
